TITCHENER, EDWARD BRADFORD
LECTURES ON THE. ELEMENTARY PSYCHOLOGY OF FEELING AND ATTENTION
This is a set of brilliant, witty, and lucid lectures delivered at Columbia University by the great American psychologist Edward Bradford Titchener (1867-1927), the founder of the structuralist point of view and translator of the most important of Wundt's works into English. In this landmark volume, Titchener began by describing the basic sensations and their attributes and continued with a critical review of Wundt's three-dimensional theory of feeling. He analyzed attention as sensory clearness and then discriminated between two specific levels of attention.
